I just want to share a quick thought today about our faith and relationship with Christ. I pray it is an encouragement to you today!
Are you genuinely excited about your faith and your relationship with Jesus Christ? Do you make your enthusiasm known to those around you? I'm afraid that too many of us are "silent ambassadors" for Christ. The Lord intends for you and I to stand before others and proclaim our faith and relationship with Him.
Genuine, heartfelt Christianity is contagious. If you have a life-altering relationship with Christ, that relationship will have an impact on others - perhaps a profound impact.
Does Jesus Christ reign supreme in your life? Is He is preeminent in all things and areas of your life? If so, share your faith and your testimony with those around you today. Share your excitement of what Christ has done for you. The world needs it!
"There seems to be a chilling fear of holy enthusiasm among the people of God. We try to tell how happy we are, but we remain so well-controlled that there are very few waves of glory experienced in our midst." - A.W. Tozer
Prayer For Today:
Heavenly Father, as I reflect on what Christ did for me on the cross, may it stir my heart and cause me to share that joy with those I come into contact with. Help me to share Your goodness and Your grace with those who are in need of the Gospel today. May others see how Christ has radically changed my life! In Jesus name, Amen!

Godly Character
"In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity, Sound speech that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you." - Titus 2:7-8
Your character is what you are when no one else is watching. Your character is also what you do when no one else is watching. It is amazing how much different people can be when they think they are alone and no one is watching. However, Christ is ALWAYS watching!
It would probably blow our minds if we knew some of the things that our fellow church members did in private. We have professing Christians who watch pornography in their homes when they are alone, thinking no one knows. We have professing Christians committing adultery, thinking that it is okay as long as no one finds out. Literally, we have so many people in our churches today leading double lives.
What is God trying to say to us in these verses? He is saying that He wants us to have a Godly character so that people will not be able to so anything evil against us, and if they try to that they will be ashamed because they won't have a leg to stand on. If you and I have a Godly character, it will be difficult for us to be condemned by those that would wish to speak evil of us.
If you sincerely desire to have a Godly character and to walk with God, you must, the best of your ability, be obedient to His Word and His will. Now let me say, there are going to times when you are going to fail miserably because of our flesh and sin nature. As Paul said in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." The only way you are going to have Godly character is to allow Christ to do it. The only way you can live the Christian life is to allow Christ to live it through you.
"If God can fashion the mountains, if God can keep the sun its orbit, if God can split a sea and dry the ground beneath it so an entire nation can cross, do you doubt that He can transform your character?" - Bill Hybels
Prayer For Today:
Heavenly Father, help me to be a person of integrity, let my words and deeds be a testimony to You. Help me to have a Godly character today, and always. In Jesus name, Amen!
